32 intrepid Phab cyclists take part in RideLondon-Surrey 100

Sunday, 29th July 2018

Phab were thrilled to have 32 cyclists in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 event on Sunday 29th July, all raising funds for Phab.

Starting at the Olympic Park and finishing at Green Park, the intrepid cyclists braved heavy rain and windy weather to complete the 100 mile course.  And waiting to welcome them at Green Park was Janine Williams, Phab’s Challenge Events Manager, along with Nikki who volunteered her support all day in spite of the unkind weather!

The cyclists all said what a great event it was to be involved in and how much they appreciated the support they had from Phab in the run up to the ride.  This included the very popular dedicated cyclists group Facebook page set up by Phab where cyclists were able to talk about their training journey and give each other tips.  One cyclist was not only already talking about taking part again next year but he intended to get his whole cycling club joining in in 2019.

Many thanks to all those 32 cyclists taking part and to their families and friends for supporting them in what must be one of the most challenging but rewarding events for cyclists nationally.
